Job Summary
SAP Security and Implementation Engineer Contract, Inside IR35. Must be Eligible to go through SC Clearance.
At the sharp end of space exploration, this programme supports technology that genuinely leaves the planet. You’ll be working in an environment where precision, security and reliability aren’t nice-to-haves, they’re mission-critical.
What makes it even more interesting is that this isn’t happening in isolation. You’ll be contributing to work that sits alongside collaborations with SpaceX, NASA, and other leading players across the global space sector.
In short, the systems you help secure won’t just support a business. They’ll support missions, spacecraft, satellites and infrastructure that operate far beyond our little blue planet.
You’ll be joining a live S/4HANA Public Cloud programme. They need someone who can take ownership of roles, authorisations, and identity management, and make it work properly in a real environment. This is hands-on delivery. You’ll be designing how access works across the business, not just maintaining what’s already there.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll act as the go-to for SAP Security across the platform, working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Designing and implementing SAP roles and authorisation models.
- Running SoD analysis and shaping practical controls.
- Building and improving role provisioning and access workflows.
- Working with stakeholders to translate real processes into security design.
- Supporting and improving a live S/4HANA environment.
- Identifying gaps and tightening up existing security architecture.
What they’re looking for
- Strong SAP Security & Authorisations experience.
- Hands-on with S/4HANA (Public Cloud ideally, but not essential).
- Experience with role design and access control models.
- Good understanding of SoD and governance.
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Someone who can take ownership and make decisions.
Nice to have (not essential)
- SAP Fiori / HANA security experience.
- Exposure to SAP Access Control / GRC.
- Experience in implementation or transformation programmes.
Why this role
You’ll be stepping into a live, evolving S/4HANA environment where your work will shape how security is done going forward. It’s not a rigid legacy setup, and you won’t be boxed into a narrow remit. There’s proper ownership here, and the chance to build something that actually works.
