As a Review Manager, you will be responsible for leading thorough and systematic evaluations of internal policies, procedures, and operational practices to ensure full compliance with all applicable industry regulations, legal requirements, and organizational standards. This role involves identifying potential gaps or risks, recommending actionable improvements, and collaborating with various teams to implement effective corrective measures that enhance overall compliance and operational efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing eDiscovery document review projects in a legal, law enforcement, or security environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Clearwell, Concordance, Logikcull, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of legal review workflows, including document tagging, issue coding, privilege review, and quality control processes.
  • Experience supervising and training review teams, ensuring high-quality and consistent output under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws, regulatory compliance requirements, and chain-of-custody principles in the context of electronic evidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Background in coordinating complex projects, balancing multiple priorities, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the eDiscovery Review Process: Lead and coordinate document and data review projects, ensuring that the review workflow is efficient, thorough, and compliant with legal requirements and client specifications. Oversee the setup and execution of review platforms and tools.
  • Coordinate Review Teams: Supervise and support review attorneys and analysts, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency in document review.
  • Identify and Address Issues: Monitor the review for gaps, inconsistencies, or potential compliance risks related to data handling, privilege, or relevance. Work with legal and technical teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement Best Practices: Develop and enforce standardized review protocols and quality assurance procedures to optimize review accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed status reports on review progress, findings, and key issues for internal teams and clients. Ensure all documentation meets audit and regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with attorneys, project managers, IT, and clients to provide clear updates, address concerns, and align review strategies with case objectives.
