Built Alliance are looking to recruit a Strategic Advisory & Programme Consultant to join a growing, specialist consultancy delivering high-impact strategic advisory and programme leadership services across education, healthcare and wider public-sector environments.
This is a senior individual contributor role within the advisory team, suited to someone ready to operate at Senior Consultant or Associate level who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy and delivery. You will support organisations in shaping estate and capital strategies, developing robust business cases, strengthening governance frameworks and translating strategic intent into structured, deliverable programmes.
Working closely with advisory leadership, you will help clients navigate complex decisions, providing clear thinking, structured analysis and practical recommendations that lead to confident, sustainable investment and change. You will be contributing to a broad mix of advisory and programme work. This includes supporting estate and portfolio optimisation exercises, developing business cases and options appraisals, and leading elements of programme planning, oversight and assurance.
You’ll analyse complex information, distil it into clear strategic outputs, and engage directly with senior stakeholders, shaping discussions and challenging constructively. Alongside client delivery, you’ll contribute to proposals and growth activity, supporting the continued expansion of the advisory offering. You may also provide guidance to more junior colleagues, helping build a cohesive and high-performing advisory capability.
We are looking for someone with consultancy or in-house advisory experience across strategy, governance, business case development or programme management. Experience within education, healthcare, estates or the public sector would be highly advantageous. Strong analytical capability is essential, as is the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently to varied audiences.
The Consultancy themselves operates a modern, trust-based working culture. Home is your workplace, with hybrid engagement as required for clients and team collaboration.
Benefits include unlimited holiday allowance, a 7% employer pension contribution, and exposure to genuinely strategic assignments with clear progression potential. This is an opportunity to step into a visible and influential position within a growing advisory function. While not a Director-level role, your voice will carry weight, both internally and with clients and you will play a meaningful part in shaping strategy, strengthening delivery and supporting long-term growth.
