A great opportunity for a part qualified Accountant to join this vibrant office based in Enfield, North London. This organisation concentrates on delivering a first-class service to its clients on a day-to-day basis. The part qualified Accountant will assist in the day-to-day function of this very busy accountant’s office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts
- Complete tax returns
- Perform trial balances
- Assist with PAYE and prepare VAT-related activities
- Prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders and corporate companies
- Maintain filing systems in adherence to organisational policies and procedures
- Update and maintain the database with accurate and current information
- Prepare reports and letters, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Work with Excel and Xero as software plus be able to use Microsoft
- Possess good communication skills
- Answer and handle phone calls promptly and professionally
- Be organised
- Have excellent IT skills
- Think on your feet and work independently
Ideally, the applicant will be ACCA or ACA qualified or working towards those qualifications. Will consider AAT qualified to level 2 and above or studying towards this qualification, which will help your application. Practice experience is essential as they will be working as an all-round accountant.
Hours of work: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, with a 60-minute lunch break.
