We are looking for a motivated
Service Now Green Developer to join our ITSM/Service Now team.
The candidate will work on configuring, developing, testing, and supporting Service Now applications and workflows under the guidance of senior developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Service Now applications based on business requirements.
- Develop
Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes and other platform components.
- Work with
Java Script and Glide APIs , including Glide Record and Glide System.
- Configure
Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge and Service Catalog modules.
- Build basic workflows and automations using
Flow Designer .
- Create and maintain Service Catalog items, variables, approvals and notifications.
- Work with
CMDB and understand CI relationships and data quality.
- Support REST/SOAP integrations and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Perform unit testing, debugging and defect resolution.
- Follow Service Now development standards, security/ACL practices and release processes.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of
Service Now platform and ITSM concepts .
- Good knowledge of
Java Script .
- Understanding of Service Now scripting and Glide APIs.
- Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Service Catalog.
- Familiarity with
Flow Designer, ACLs, Update Sets and Service Now Studio .
- Basic understanding of
REST APIs, JSON and XML .
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new Service Now releases and technologies.
- Good to Have
Service Now CSA certification .
- Exposure to
CAD certification/coursework .
- Knowledge of CMDB, ITOM or Integration Hub.
- Experience with
ATF (Automated Test Framework) .
- Basic knowledge of Git/CI-CD and Agile/Scrum.
