Permanent, full-time position in the Blackpool area. An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to lead and support a team providing assistance to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This role is with an established organisation that supports vulnerable individuals across England.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of staff to ensure compliance and safe service for adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and some mental health issues.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members, fostering a positive and engaging team culture.
- Provide support to your team through 1-1s and supervisions, ensuring all performance processes are met in line with CQC legislation.
- Ensure audits, risk assessments, and support plans are updated.
- Be flexible to work and support on shift as required, working Monday to Friday and some occasional weekends.
- Participate in the on-call system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading teams within a supported living environment for adults with learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience supporting teams in regular supervisions.
- Ideally hold Level 5 in Leadership & Management or be working towards it.
- Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Previous management and leadership experience and knowledge of all CQC related legislation.
- Car driver ideally, with access to your own vehicle.
- Flexible, with a positive attitude and person-centred approach.
