About The Role
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting young people with EBD needs in a safe, children‑centred and structured environment. You will offer support with a team of residential support workers, ensuring the highest quality of care is consistently delivered while promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in your care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and mentor staff teams throughout the home
- Support young people in care with day‑to‑day duties and independence
- Ensure all safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards are met
- Support the development and implementation of individual care plans
- Build trusting relationships with children, families and professionals
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader ready for the step up within a children's residential provision
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for making a difference in young people's lives
- Ability to work flexibly, including nights, evenings, weekends and sleep‑in shifts
- Driver with access to own car
