Brook Street Social Care is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected children’s residential care provider in Preston. Due to continued growth and development, we are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a 3 bedded EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Senior Residential Support Worker or existing Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and child‑focused organisation.

The Role

  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the home
  • Lead, mentor and develop the staff team
  • Ensure high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people
  • Contribute to care planning and risk assessments
  • Deputise in the Manager's absence

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential)
  • Experience working within an EBD children’s residential setting
  • Previous senior or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
  • A full UK driving licence
