We’re looking for kind, reliable, and motivated people to join our team as Support Workers in Powys, providing care and support to adults living in supported accommodation with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Location & Schedule

  • Location: Powys, Aberhonddu
  • Hours: Full-time, part-time, and flexible shifts available

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you'll be working directly with individuals in supported living settings, helping them to live as independently as possible. This includes support with daily routines, promoting life skills, community involvement, emotional well-being, and personal care when needed. Every person you support is different - and so is every day in this rewarding role.

Responsibilities

  • Usually working directly with individuals in supported living settings to promote independence and well-being
  • Assist with daily routines, life skills development, and community involvement
  • Provide emotional support and personal care when needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months experience working in care in the UK
  • A caring, respectful, and patient nature
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to support people with varied and sometimes complex needs
  • Full training provided
  • Must be a Driver
