We are recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers to join a high-quality residential care service supporting adults with profound learning disabilities and complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Senior Support Worker looking to develop their career in adult social care and supported living.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care in line with individual support plans
  • Assist with daily living including bathing, dressing, meal prep
  • Lead Support Workers and ensure safe, effective shift management
  • Promote independence and support individuals to meet personal goals
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and follow all policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals and the care team
  • Support managers in ensuring high standards of care

Requirements

  • Previous experience in residential care or supported living
  • Experience leading teams in learning disability or complex needs services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
  • Flexible to work on a rolling rota including weekends and on-call
  • Ideally a car driver
