About The Role
Brook Street is recruiting on behalf of a large public sector organisation within the Legal Sector. We are seeking a reliable and professional Court Usher to support operations at South Tyneside Law Court. As a Court Usher, you will play a key role in ensuring court proceedings run smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to work in a high-profile, fast-paced environment within the justice system.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting court clerks and preparing court log reports
- Supervising vulnerable adults and children attending hearings
- Completing post-hearing tasks proactively
- Liaising with legal advisors, judiciary, and the public
- Updating internal systems and maintaining records
- Performing general administrative duties
