Executive Search Specialist to the Sports, Fashion, & Private Equity Industries
Virtua is currently retained on a newly created Global Transformation & Strategy Director role with one of our long-standing clients in the sports & fashion retail industries. This role will report directly to the COO & CEO and be responsible for all aspects of our client’s transformation strategy, working closely with their investor team and the entire C-suite to ensure a smooth and succinct rollout.
The Transformation Director will be responsible for driving the strategic transformation initiatives across the entire business, focusing on growth opportunities, store optimisation, brand development, operational excellence, and financial efficiency. Reporting to CEO / CFO and closely collaborating with their investor team, the TD will lead a multifaceted transformation program. This executive role will require a visionary leader with a proven track record in driving change, implementing strategic projects, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Program manage and oversee execution of a comprehensive transformation roadmap aligned with the overall strategic vision, growth objectives, and market opportunities.
Process Optimisation & Efficiency:
- Continue constant identification of opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiencies, and reduce costs across all business units, including retail, wholesale, e-commerce, supply chain, and logistics.
- Drive the implementation of best practices in operational excellence, ensuring sustainable and scalable improvements.
Measuring Outcomes & KPIs:
- Work with the investor team to align strategic priorities, key facts and figures, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration on key transformation initiatives.
Change Management:
- Lead change management efforts to foster a culture of innovation and agility within the existing business, engaging teams across all levels to embrace new processes, systems, and technologies.
- Oversee the successful integration of omnichannel retail technologies and digital solutions to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Support digital transformation initiatives. Leverage data analytics and AI to drive personalised marketing, improve supply chain efficiency, and optimise inventory management.
Sustainability & ESG Initiatives:
- Collaborate with investor and internal teams to advance our client’s sustainability agenda, aligning with the company’s goals of achieving carbon net zero by 2030 for Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
- Implement projects that improve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance, integrating sustainability into core business strategies.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Support CEO / CFO in building a high-performing transformation team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Provide mentorship and guidance to executives and managers, ensuring the successful delivery of transformation projects.
