Virtek Solutions Ltd is a growing Scottish technology company specialising in Managed Print Services, Document Management, Telecoms, IT Services and Digital Signage. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our service team supporting our Epson and Fujifilm managed print customers throughout Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair Epson and Fujifilm multifunctional devices and printers (full manufacturer training provided where required)
- Attend customer breakdowns and service calls
- Install, configure and network multifunctional devices and printers
- Carry out device installations, relocations and upgrades
- Liaise with our service, operations and sales teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time
- Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
Experience, Skills & Qualities
- Previous experience installing, servicing and networking printers and multifunctional devices
- Experience with Epson, Fujifilm, Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Kyocera, Toshiba, Xerox or Lexmark equipment would be advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Team player with a professional approach
- Full UK Driving Licence essential
