Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
We have an opportunity in Beddington for two fixed term contract apprentices to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with potential for shift work following year 1. The salary for this role will be £24,830.00 per year plus location allowance of £4,694.04, in addition to salary and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.
We're looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Operations Technician Apprentices at our Beddington Energy Recovery Facility. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and work towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification while earning a salary.
What You'll Be Doing
- As an Operations Technician Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, learning how a state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility operates.
- You'll gain practical experience across site operations, develop valuable technical knowledge, and contribute to the safe and efficient running of the facility while completing your apprenticeship qualification.
