Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
We're looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Operations Technician Apprentices at our Beddington Energy Recovery Facility. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and work towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification while earning a salary. We currently have two fixed-term apprenticeship opportunities available, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the potential to move onto shift working following the first year of the programme.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Operations Technician Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, learning how a state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility operates. You'll gain practical experience across site operations, develop valuable technical knowledge, and contribute to the safe and efficient running of the facility while completing your apprenticeship qualification.
