Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.

We have an opportunity in Glasgow for a Day Shift Team Leader to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role will be £65,363 per year, and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

The Day Shift Team Leader is responsible for the health and safety of all staff, contractors to site and visitors to site, implementing and monitoring systems and processes through good practice to maximise the process ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance, delivering customer expectations in terms of service and product quality, and operating the site in an efficient and effective manner.

The Day Shift Team Leader will be the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) complying with Viridor's Safety Rules to provide a Safe System of Work. The role includes the supervision of the ERF Tipping Hall, IBA Hall and Weighbridge area, and of contractors when carrying out activities on site.
