Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.

We have an opportunity for a National Chief Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our team working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is competitive, includes a car allowance, and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

The Chief C&I Engineer shall support the existing sites teams using relevant experience and skills focusing on applications such as DCS, functional safety systems, PLCs and cyber security. It will require a close working relationship with the other members of the Central Engineering Team. This is a national role covering all our UK sites where you will act as subject matter expert, setting standards and driving best practice. A full driving license is required for the role.
