Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK’s climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of mechanical engineering and maintenance at the Energy Recovery Facility in cooperation with Electrical and C&I engineers.
  • Ensure optimal long‑term availability of the plant to preserve the value of assets and meet health, safety, environmental and financial targets.
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities associated with the ERF, including stores and workshops management, efficiently.
