Viridien is seeking a Sourcing & Contracts Support to join the EDA Strategic Sourcing team within the Operations Group. This role supports sourcing, vendor management, and contracting activities across global marine seismic acquisition programs, as well as broader EDA procurement needs including services, software, and consultancy. The role focuses on ensuring consistency, traceability, and compliance across sourcing processes, while supporting vendor onboarding, contract management, and market intelligence activities. There is opportunity to grow into contract ownership and broader sourcing responsibilities over time.

Location: This role is open to candidates based in Llandudno (North Wales), Crawley (UK), Houston (USA), Oslo (Norway), or Massy (France).

You will join the EDA Strategic Sourcing team, responsible for supplier selection, vendor management, and contracting across global operations. The team works closely with Operations and other business functions to manage sourcing activities across the full lifecycle, supporting complex, multi-vessel programs and broader procurement needs. The role is ideally based in North Wales, working alongside the existing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing & Vendor Management
    • Support vendor onboarding, vetting, and due diligence processes.
    • Maintain vendor capability databases and onboarding systems such as Aprovall360.
    • Track vendor performance and support supplier selection activities.
  • Contract Management & Support
    • Maintain contract databases and renewal tracking systems.
    • Support contract formation processes and documentation.
    • Assist with purchase order processes and internal coordination.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting
    • Collect and maintain supplier market intelligence, including supplier activity and capabilities.
    • Update internal tools such as Supplier Watch and vessel tracking systems.
    • Support RFQ processes, including template preparation and response collation.
  • Risk & Governance
    • Support risk assessments, risk register updates, and mitigation tracking.
    • Ensure sourcing activities align with internal processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Data & Process Management
    • Maintain sourcing documentation across systems such as SharePoint, Monday.com, and Dilitrust.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping and audit-ready documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Document lessons learned and support process improvements.
    • Contribute to updates in business continuity planning and sourcing frameworks.
    • Support enhancements to sourcing tools, workflows, and team collaboration platforms.
Qualifications
  • Required: Experience in procurement, sourcing, contracts support, or administrative roles in a business environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with data, documentation, and internal systems.
  • Preferred: Experience in sourcing, vendor management, or contract administration.
  • Experience working with tools such as SharePoint, Monday.com, or contract management systems.
  • Experience in energy, marine, or data-driven industries.
  • Interest in developing procurement and contract management expertise.
