We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Manager – Technology, on a 6-9 month fixed-term contract, to lead the procurement of cutting-edge tech solutions to support business goals. You’ll develop strategic sourcing plans, manage vendor relationships, and drive cost-effective outcomes while collaborating with key stakeholders. Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement plans for sourcing technology products and services aligned with Virgin Group's strategy.
Supplier Management: Build and maintain key supplier relationships, negotiating contracts with favorable terms.
Cost Optimisation: Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement procurement best practices.
Risk Management: Identify and address risks in procurement, ensuring compliance and vendor reliability.
Vendor Performance: Ensure vendors meet quality, delivery, and contractual standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams like Technology, Innovation, and Finance to meet business needs.
Contract Management: Lead the drafting, negotiation, and oversight of procurement contracts.
What You’ll Need:
- Tech Savvy: Deep knowledge of software, cloud solutions, IT managed services, and tech development, with a strong understanding of technology products and services.
- Contracts Expertise: Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing technology contracts, ensuring compliance and delivering value.
- Skilled Negotiator & Problem Solver: A track record of securing favourable deals and solving complex challenges with strong analytical abilities.
- Collaborative Leader: Experience leading cross-functional teams and building effective partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Effective Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging with vendors and internal teams alike.
- Detail-Oriented Multitasker: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently.
- CIPS Qualification: Ideally CIPS-qualified or actively interested in pursuing this professional certification to enhance your procurement expertise.
Role type: Contract (6-9 months)
Location: London hub (2 days per week) & your home space
Salary: £66,000 - £81,000 plus bonus
