For over 50 years, we’ve been driven by curiosity, bold thinking and a belief that business can be a force for good. We’re a big brand, but not a big team. That means you’ll get stuck in, take real ownership, and see the impact of what you do every day. Around here, your career isn’t a straight line — it’s your adventure to shape.
What you’ll be getting stuck into:
- Through financial and strategic analysis, support value creation from equity investments and brand licensees, ensuring strong commercial performance.
- Manage and nurture the portfolio of existing equity investments and brand licensees.
- Support initiatives to source investment, co-investment, and licensing opportunities, driving diligence efforts to assess attractiveness of potential investments through quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- Support the evaluation of new brand licensing opportunities, while also managing and overseeing branded businesses in collaboration with our Brand, Loyalty, and Finance teams.
- Help analyse and manage intrinsic company risks and exogenous risks.
- Support preparation of internal and external presentations and discussion materials, including updates, recommendations, pitches and negotiation documents, and participating in related discussions.
What you’ll bring:
- 2-3 years total relevant experience at a global investment bank or financial advisory firm.
- Strong functional, technical, financial, accounting and modelling skills.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness and ability to balance economic/financial considerations with wider strategic priorities.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work successfully independently and collaboratively as a part of a complex team.
- Ability to view decisions objectively and accurately to weigh conflicting data points and perspectives to achieve an optimal investment outcome.
- Ability to identify and resolve information gaps, and conduct analytical work to support decision making.
- Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
What you’ll get in return: We know life doesn’t stop when work starts. So we’ve built our benefits to support you - at work and beyond.
- Life – support when it matters most, with healthcare from day one, family-friendly policies and help for life’s bigger moments.
- Work – the foundations that set you up for the future, including a competitive pension, life assurance and options like our EV scheme.
- Spirit – space to grow and enjoy the journey, with a personal learning budget, mentoring, volunteering time… and our famous “Screw it, let’s do it” pot.
It’s all designed to help you feel your best, do your best, and enjoy the ride - with a few extra Virgin touches along the way (because we don’t really do “standard”).
The essentials: We're open to offering visa sponsorship for this role – we'll chat if that’s something you’ll need. Salary: £90,000 + bonus - we’re big on transparency, so no smoke and mirrors here. There's plenty of room for growth as you develop in the role.
Where you’ll work: We come together in the office approx. 3 days a week — the rest is yours to work in your own space.
Closing date: 24 May 2026.
Bring your whole self: We welcome people from all walks of life, with all kinds of experiences and ways of thinking. Different perspectives, however your mind works, help us see things differently and do things better.
If there’s anything we can do to support you through the hiring process, just let us know, we’ll always do our best to make it work for you.
