You’re a forward-thinking, self-motivated, and vibrant communicator with a proven ability to make things happen. Unafraid to dive in, you’ll play a key role within the UK Sales Team as a Business Development Executive, supporting development account management, frontline engagement, and tactical execution to drive sales performance.

This role blends relationship building, training delivery, and commercial analysis to help achieve sales targets while equipping our partners with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. With your finger on the pulse of what matters most to our First Mates (travel agent partners), you’ll genuinely care about ensuring that both Virgin Voyages and our partners win together. Dynamic and varied, this role involves direct contact with our First Mates, building strong relationships that fuel shared success. You’ll be passionate about problem-solving, going above and beyond to deliver an industry-leading service. And with your strong organisational skills, you’ll help improve productivity and ensure our small (but mighty) team has maximum reach across the First Mate community.

To jump aboard this role, you’ll need to already be located in Central England in UK with full working rights to live and work here. The rate of pay is targeted at £45,000.00 annually, plus added bonus incentive and allowances to sweeten the voyage.

What You\’ll Be Up To

  • Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding team sales targets, contributing directly to Virgin Voyages’ overall growth objectives.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions, webinars, and in-person activations to boost frontline confidence, selling skills, and lead conversion.
  • Represent the brand as a Virgin Voyages ambassador at trade events, roadshows, ship visits, fam trips, conferences, and both B2B and B2C engagements, domestically and internationally.
  • Confidently present to large internal and external audiences, acting as a key spokesperson for the brand.
  • Manage development accounts, building relationships and delivering on strategic sales objectives and initiatives.
  • Provide market insights by sharing competitor and industry analysis with Sales Managers and the Director of Sales.
  • Increase Seacademy engagement by driving Gold-level completions through targeted initiatives and active support.
  • Champion the Virgin Voyages brand by ensuring every interaction reflects our values and reinforces our reputation as brilliant to do business with.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by sharing ideas, success stories, and best practices that support team success.
  • Support wider business goals by taking on additional duties as required to enhance overall sales performance.

SuperPowers Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience (3+ years’ experience preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales role; cruise industry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of travel industry consortia, host, and franchise account models.
  • Strong understanding of the cruise market and sales strategies across various segments.
  • Deep appreciation for the critical importance of delivering exceptional customer and partner experiences to drive brand success.
  • A proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with confidence presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Creative, innovative thinking with the ability to challenge industry norms and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering long-term success.
