As our Data Product Manager for core business data products & strategic partnerships, you'll shape the data products that power smarter decisions across the business while making sure our biggest commercial partnerships have the trusted data they need to thrive. You'll spend as much time working with business stakeholders and strategic partners as you do with analytics and engineering teams, translating complex needs into scalable data products that make life simpler for everyone.
What you’ll be getting stuck into:
- Own and evolve Virgin Red's core business data products, creating trusted, reusable data that powers the business.
- Partner with commercial, marketing and product teams to understand business needs and turn them into clear data priorities.
- Shape how we measure what matters, from customer and commercial performance to operational insights.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, analytics, engineering and data product teams, ensuring everyone is working towards the same goals.
- Lead the data workstream for strategic partnerships, helping onboard new partners and delivering scalable data solutions rather than one-off builds.
- Prioritise analytics and reporting demand, ensuring teams focus on the work that delivers the biggest impact.
- Champion consistent data definitions and best practice, helping create a single source of truth across Virgin Red.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Data Product Manager or in a similar data-focused product role, ideally owning customer, commercial or business data products.
- A strong analytics background with a solid understanding of business intelligence, reporting and dashboarding.
- Confidence working with senior business stakeholders and translating complex requests into clear product priorities.
- Experience balancing the needs of multiple teams while making pragmatic decisions that deliver long-term value.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with experience working across product, engineering, analytics and commercial teams.
- Curiosity, commercial thinking and the confidence to challenge when needed to protect the integrity of core data products.
