In this role you will coordinate and shape the direction of Nationwide’s Business Banking Products, supporting the Director with portfolio governance, planning and insight. You’ll connect strategy with delivery across multiple product streams, ensuring risks, regulatory considerations and customer outcomes are reflected in decision making. Responsibilities
- Coordinate portfolio planning, prioritisation and strategic delivery across the Business Banking Products function
- Support development of portfolio plans, investment priorities and objectives aligned to the broader strategy
- Identify dependencies, risks and opportunities to keep leadership informed on priorities and progress
- Provide high-quality briefings, analysis and executive support to the Director of Business Banking Products
- Coordinate governance forums, reporting and submissions across Product teams
- Develop market and customer insights to inform portfolio discussions and strategic decisions
- Produce performance reporting and dashboards to track commercial, customer and operational metrics
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment across product workstreams
- Support delivery of transformation programmes and embedding new operating models
- Contribute to leadership forums and maintain governance around portfolio risks, actions and regulatory commitments
- Promote collaboration and ensure priorities are aligned across Product, Commercial, Risk, Finance and Technology
Key requirements
- Significant experience in Business Banking, Product Management, Strategy or Business Management
- Ability to operate in a complex, matrix environment with multi-stakeholder accountability
- Experience leading portfolio, programme and project management across multiple areas
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with data-driven decision making
- Proven ability to gather requirements, communicate insights and influence strategic discussions
- Understanding of regulatory, risk and conduct considerations in financial services
- Experience in customer journey mapping and process design
- Change management and transformation delivery experience
