The Business Support team plays a vital role in ensuring our hiring processes are fair, inclusive, and aligned with business needs, while maintaining strong governance across our people practices. As a Business Support Analyst, you'll support the delivery of a variety of tasks including recruitment activity across the Customer Support Ops & Financial Care Team, ensure governance standards are upheld and providing day to day support to colleagues across both areas of 'Financial Care'.

Responsibilities

  • Actively involved in various parts of 'Financial Care's' governance cycle, including organising meetings, gathering and preparing data for meeting materials and reports across the operational areas and supporting operational areas with overall governance tasks.
  • Delivering essential business support through tasks like coordinating travel arrangements, processing purchase orders and managing supplier invoices to ensure smooth day to day operations.
  • Support the effective planning and management of business requirements activities.
  • Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
  • Monitoring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Ensuring business processes align with governance frameworks.
  • Supporting audits and process reviews.
  • Own communications engagement and support business in distributing regular updates and communications.
  • Support governance agenda for business area to oversee governance calendar, content and key forums.
  • Coordinating recruitment activity across 'Financial Care', working closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to provide support with key recruitment activities, including advert creation, candidate tracking and interview scheduling.
  • Working closely with the 'Financial Care' training team to ensure training plans are in place prior to colleagues being onboarded.
  • Facilitating seamless onboarding of new hires with laptops, system access and essential tools.

Qualifications

  • Proactive individual with a proven track record of governance principles and practices.
  • Experienced in drafting, structuring, and finalising communications for internal and external audiences, using initiative to ensure messaging is aligned, timely, and effectively delivered.
  • Experience in managing complex diaries, scheduling meetings, and coordinating arrangements with precision, ensuring logistical details are handled efficiently to support team operations.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of good governance structures.
  • Confident in managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of recruitment processes and governance principles.
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving.
