Our Team
We’re up to some exciting things in Architecture Governance within CTO and our goal is to create a secure environment for the bank through modern governance practices. It’s our mission to enhance governance frameworks, mitigate risks and foster a culture of transparency and collaboration. To help us achieve this, our team is growing and we’re seeking a Governance Manager to champion, direct and drive architecture governance for the Bank. It’s a key role as you drive technology alignment to the IT / Business Strategy and enterprise policies, standards, patterns and roadmaps.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensuring technology decisions and designs are governed from inception to implementation, providing a robust framework for consistency and quality.
- Operating architecture processes and controls that support modern digital delivery methodologies, effectively managing governance-related risks within the CTO risk profile.
- Driving data decisions that supports the definition and analysis of metrics to demonstrate achievements and influence future decisions, ensuring deviations are highlighted to appropriate governance forums.
- Capturing and reporting on the supply and demand for architectural resources, ensuring the overall architectural delivery capability is managed effectively.
- Managing the Architecture front door process to support VM project shaping activities, ensuring projects are well-defined and aligned with strategic goals.
- Supporting the Technical Design Authority and Architecture Review Board, ensuring technology decisions align with business needs and Red Stack strategy.
- Providing thought leadership on technology governance, continuously improving processes to drive better, more informed decision-making.
- Supporting the AI Council in creating an AI framework to ensure AI system development is responsible and ethical.
We need you to have
- Demonstrable experience in governing technical solutions from inception to execution.
- A successful track record of working within Architecture in financial services.
- First class communication skills with experience of presenting to stakeholders – being straight up as you keep the complex simple.
- Experience of positively influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at a senior level.
- Expert knowledge and a passion for IT solution architecture and design.
- Knowledge and experience of working within a project management practice.
- A strong understanding of Architecture frameworks and approaches.
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
- Power BI and Power Automate skills.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and AI governance frameworks.
