As we are expanding, we’re looking for a Credit Card Trading Manager to lead acquisition trading performance for our Credit Card products and drive profitable growth. Reporting to the Senior Trading Manager, this role is central to our commercial success — blending financial rigor, strategic pricing, and market insight to deliver results in one of the most competitive spaces in consumer finance What you’ll be doing Lead acquisition performance: Monitor and report on trading performance vs. plan, identifying risks and opportunities. Deliver real-time insights across trading meetings and business reviews. Own product economics: Partner closely with Finance to ensure customer behaviours and product performance are accurately reflected in financial models. Challenge assumptions and advocate for commercial realities. Bridge Finance, Risk and Commercial: Act as the key conduit between Finance, Risk and Commercial teams, translating financial insights into actionable trading strategies and vice versa. Collaborate with Insight: Work hand-in-hand with the Insight team to develop pricing proposals backed by robust data — including forecasted volume impacts and aggregator table positioning. Drive pricing and product strategy: Lead the development and execution of pricing and product changes, ensuring speed-to-market and robust governance. Market and competitor analysis: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor movements, assessing impact and identifying mitigation strategies. Customer outcomes and fair value: Ensure products deliver expected outcomes for target markets. Support fair value assessments and review outcome scorecards. Cross-functional collaboration: Build strong relationships with Risk, Finance, Digital, Marketing, and Insight teams to align objectives and unlock growth opportunities. We need you to have Proven experience in a commercial product role within Financial Services and deep understanding of product economics and financial modelling. Ability to challenge and collaborate with Finance, ensuring commercial strategies are financially sound and customer behaviours are accurately represented. Experience working with Insight teams to translate data into pricing strategies that drive aggregator performance and volume growth. Strong analytical skills using Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint to interpret and present complex data. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery and performance monitoring. Experience launching financial products in a controlled, effective, and customer-focused manner. A proactive, open-minded attitude and a passion for driving change and transformation. It’s a bonus if you have but not essential Knowledge of unsecured lending products and propositions. Experience in digital journey conversion optimisation. Understanding of Consumer Duty regulations and how to ensure fair value in financial products.
