Our Team
We operate on an end-to-end model, responsible for product and proposition development, portfolio and performance management, customer experience, relationship management alongside development and maintenance of business banking technology.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic, innovative and growing Business Transactional Products team as a Senior Product Analyst. The Transactional Products team are responsible for strategic vision, ongoing evolution, and delivery of Transactional Products, including business current accounts, business savings products and the business credit card.
In this fast-paced environment, you will support our Business Product Managers by providing insight into our product performance and customer behaviours, supporting the management of our suite of Business Transactional Products and identifying opportunities to improve, enhance and optimise our business propositions.
What you’ll be doing
- Performing analysis and providing insight on the performance and behaviours of our products, enabling us to understand and optimise our portfolio, driving commercial performance.
- Providing analytical support to the team, contributing to the management of our existing products, supporting the development of new products and using insight to drive customer journey enhancements.
- Supporting the product review cycle, ensuring our products are safe, compliant and adhere to policy, preventing potential customer harms and providing fair value to customers.
- Supporting Relationship Managers and the wider business with queries relating to Business Transactional Products.
- Product task management and analysis to support regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
- Supporting Business Product Managers with ad-hoc pieces of analysis to deliver wider team priorities.
We need you to have
- Strong data and analytical skills and a mindset that enjoys solving problems.
- Background in data or an analytical role or a degree in a relevant subject.
- Ideally experience in Financial Services or alternatively in Insurance, Technology, Telecoms or Utilities.
- A good understanding of the UK financial services market.
- A desire to develop and get involved in a variety of complex and interesting initiatives.
- Able to use data to drive insights, recommendations and actions.
- Able to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into the detail, being comfortable that your analysis will drive and support decision-making across the team.
- Experience in balancing multiple objectives and priorities.
- Strong communication skills and able to effectively present insight.
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
- Business Banking experience
- Experience in Power BI or SAS
- Presentation and report writing skills.
