Our Team
As part of the wider Finance Management Reporting team, the Business Banking team is integral to delivering granular management reporting to key stakeholders to support business strategies, targets and objectives. This role also involves statutory accounts production, engagement in the audit process and the completion of regulatory returns for relevant areas. It therefore requires technical knowledge, practical systems ability and communication skills.
What you'll be doing
- Preparation of timely and accurate management accounts and KPI reporting as required for Business Banking, including commentary on variances against Plan and prior periods.
- Review and posting of journal entries for Business banking, and related Business banking subsidiary entities.
- Review/Preparation of P&L and Balance sheet reconciliations of relevant business banking accounts.
- Execution of EIR accounting for business banking products.
- Production of IFRS compliant statutory accounts for subsidiary entities.
- Prepare as required by Reg Reporting team of other related Regulatory returns (e.g., CCA Returns).
We need you to have
- Qualified ACCA or CA membership (or equivalent)
- Strong excel skills and experience using Finance Ledgers (ideally Oracle and Kapiti/ Calypso)
- Thorough understanding of business processes, controls and audit trail requirements.
- Relevant banking industry experience.
- Experience in management and Statutory reporting.

- Thorough IFRS accounting knowledge
- Experience in financial systems change and report development processes.
- Experience in the use and application of analytics and key business metrics.
