Are you a digital detective with a curiosity about spotting security threats before they make a move? Join Virgin Media O2 as a Security Monitoring Analyst and become the first line of defense in the battle against cyber threats. With your eagle-eyed attention to detail, you’ll supervise security alerts, sift through data, and classify potential incidents with precision. Working closely with the Security Monitoring Investigation Manager, you’ll raise the big stuff and help keep our systems safe and sound. Think of it as being the cybersecurity superhero we didn’t know we needed-ready to pounce on threats, tackle puzzles, and make sure no digital villain slips through the cracks!, In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Some experience in a SOC or IT security role is a bonus.

  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms and a basic understanding of security concepts.

  • A foundational knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

  • Ability to stay focused under pressure and juggle multiple tasks at once.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • A willingness to pursue certifications like Blue Team Labs, GIAC, or equivalent is a plus.

  • A degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not a must-equivalent experience will be considered.
