About the role

As a Field Sales Advisor, you'll represent Virgin Media O out in local communities, introducing customers to our broadband, mobile and TV entertainment services that can make a real difference to everyday life. This is a face-to-face, target-driven role where resilience, confidence and motivation are key. The starting salary is £26,228 + uncapped commission, with some top earners making £50k-£70k.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Work independently in your allocated patch, speaking with customers door to door
  • Build rapport quickly and confidently with a wide range of people
  • Understand customer needs and recommend the right broadband, mobile and TV entertainment packages
  • Clearly explain pricing, deals and benefits
  • Manage your own workload from first conversation through to close
  • Take ownership of your results, targets and earning potential

You'll be supported from day one. You'll start with a two-week, full-time induction (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm), covering product knowledge, systems and sales skills. Ongoing coaching and peer support will continue once you're out in the field.

"The training was very good, and the trainer was excellent in supporting us and delivering as much information as possible within the two-week period. I also absorbed a great deal once out in the field. I have now learned the products and services we offer, along with their pricing, which is vital. I can speak confidently with customers and position the offerings effectively, leading to successful sales." - Jack Caird, Field Sales Advisor

This is a full-time, field-based role working 37.5 hours per week, typically between 12pm and 8pm. Teams are aligned to home postcode, so you'll need to live within the designated catchment area. Shift patterns and expectations will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Accessible, inclusive and equitable for all Virgin Media O is an equal opportunities employer and we work hard to remove bias and barriers. We want everyone who joins us - and everyone thinking about joining us - to feel seen, heard and supported.
