Senior Commercial Strategy Manager

At Virgin Media O2, we’re combining the UK’s fastest broadband with its most loved mobile network to create a digital‑first, customer‑focused business. As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a Senior Commercial Strategy Manager to help shape the future of our Consumer business.

In this key role, you’ll lead strategic projects that drive growth, improve performance, and unlock new opportunities across our core Fixed and Mobile services. You’ll bring strong analytical thinking, a collaborative approach, and a passion for solving complex business challenges. Your insights will influence decisions at the highest levels, and you’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to turn strategy into results.

The must haves

  • Analytical approach. You have hands‑on financial‑model building and deep Excel expertise that turns numbers into clear insight.
  • Structured problem solver with discernment for business. You can frame and bring structure to large, complex, or ambiguous problems, understanding the implications for the business and for individuals.
  • Problem solver. You can identify the key issues that impact business decisions and have excellent analytical skills to drive insights. You can interpret data ranging from customer surveys to cash flow statements.
  • Disciplined project manager. You think a few steps ahead, laying out thoughtful and achievable project plans, engaging others and knowing what information and data you need to achieve your goals.
  • Independent doer. You desire a high level of responsibility, can work with minimal supervision, and are comfortable in a high‑intensity environment.
  • Professional experience and exposure to consulting, strategy or commercial, desired at Manager level.

  • Great communicator. You build a compelling story with clear and visually appealing slides to actively involve senior collaborators, articulating complex messages in a clear manner and tailoring the message to your audience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and determined with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to team play.
