Overview
Senior Product Analyst to sit within the AI Product Management function, partnering with Product Managers to drive experimentation, product discovery, and performance insight across the AI portfolio.
Embedded in product strategy, this role shapes hypotheses, designs experiments, validates impact, influences roadmap decisions, interprets results, and translates insights into strategic product decisions.
You will work at the intersection of data science, product strategy, and commercial value, helping answer not just "what happened?" but "what should we build next and why?"
Why This Role Sits in Product
Our AI PMs carry full accountability for strategy, experimentation, and value realization.
This role elevates the rigor of experimentation, strengthens product discovery, quantifies value, and accelerates decision-making.
It exists to
- Elevate the rigour of how we experiment
- Strengthen the quality of product discovery
- Quantify value in ways that hold up to scrutiny
- Improve the decisions we make β and how fast we make them
- What You\'ll Do
- EXPERIMENTATION & CAUSAL ANALYSIS
You\'ll lead end-to-end experimentation, from design through recommendation.
Partner with PMs on A/B tests, quasi-experiments, pilots, and rollout analysis; define success metrics tied to business outcomes; and build measurement frameworks for AI/ML features.
You\'ll articulate causal impact and decide whether to scale, iterate, or sunset.
PRODUCT DISCOVERY & INSIGHT GENERATION
Delve into customer patterns, surface friction points, and identify opportunities not yet visible on the roadmap.
Build dashboards and monitoring frameworks across operational, performance, and customer data; partner with Data Science to interpret model outputs and performance trade-offs.
STRATEGIC VALUE QUANTIFICATION
Quantify revenue impact, cost reduction, churn prevention, and customer experience.
Translate complex analysis into narratives that are credible and concise, providing PMs with evidence to build a strong business case.
Analytical Storytelling & Written Communication
You will set the standard for written analytical output within the product team, including structured experiment readouts, insight memos with executive summaries, and documentation of assumptions, methods, and decisions.
- What We\'Re Looking For
- Core Capabilities
- EXPERIMENTATION & ANALYTICAL MINDSET β Strong statistical reasoning and causal thinking; proven experience designing and analysing A/B tests or controlled experiments; ability to move from data to recommendation with confidence and clarity.
- PRODUCT DISCOVERY ORIENTATION β Comfortable operating in ambiguity; can form a point of view without being told where to look; translates messy business problems into sharp analytical questions; understands product trade-offs.
- EXCEPTIONAL WRITTEN COMMUNICATION β Writes structured, concise insight documents; clear thinking; presents findings to cross-functional and senior audiences.
- ANALYTICAL STORYTELLING & WRITTEN COMMUNICATION β Sets the standard for written outputs and communicates complex ideas simply.
- Technical Toolkit
- CORE ANALYTICS & EXPERIMENTATION β Advanced SQL; Python for analysis and modelling; familiarity with experimentation platforms or statistical packages.
- CLOUD & DATA ECOSYSTEM β Experience in modern cloud data environments (Google Cloud strongly preferred); familiarity with Big Query, Analytics Hub, dbt or ELT workflows; understanding of data lineage and schema design.
- PRODUCT & INSIGHT DELIVERY TOOLING β BI dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent); Jira, Confluence; Git-based analytical environments; strong data privacy and governance practices.
- AI/ML CONTEXT β Experience interpreting model behavior, performance trade-offs, and data constraints in AI/ML product teams.
- Ideal Background
- 5+ years in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, or a data-intensive role in telecom, tech, a startup, or consulting.
- Direct experience partnering with Product Managers and/or Strategy Managers.
- Exposure to AI/ML product environments; background in high-growth or experimentation-driven organizations preferred.
