Virgin Media O2 is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Disclosure Officer to join our dynamic team for a 12-month FTC. This exciting opportunity places you at the forefront of ensuring compliance and delivering top-tier service to law enforcement and government clients. As a Disclosure Officer, you will play a crucial role in sharing information with law enforcement while ensuring compliance with the Investigatory Powers Act. You will operate within a 24 / 7 shift schedule, with a hybrid working pattern that includes regular office presence for collaboration and flexibility. Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Night shift team members work 12-hour shifts, with 1-hour unpaid lunch and two 30-minute breaks. Typical pattern: 6 consecutive night shifts, followed by a week off, then another 6-night block, with a day shift included during one of the weeks off. Office attendance is generally limited to the single day shift, allowing collaboration with other team members; night shifts are typically worked remotely or off-site.
The must haves
- Experience within the telecoms industry in a role with significant responsibility for communication and engaging with customers, including senior personnel.
- Knowledge of IPA, Data Protection, PECs, and other disclosure legal responsibilities is desirable.
- Skill in handling tight schedules, managing personal workload, and upholding a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in company standard office software packages (Office 365, etc.).
- Willingness to obtain and maintain SC level Security Clearance.
- Comfortable with an ever-changing working environment and learning new practices.
- Shown capability to effectively collaborate and communicate with individuals across all levels of an organization.
