This is an exciting opportunity to join our award‑winning Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team as a Senior Internal Communications Internal Events (maternity cover). Sitting at the heart of our Internal Communications function, you will own the planning and delivery of our core internal events and communications cadence – from senior leadership and all‑company events to awards and major business kick offs. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role.
You will bring structure, pace, and rigour to complex and high‑profile internal activity as the central coordination point across a wide range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end project governance, ensuring plans are robust, risks are anticipated and delivery stays on track. Alongside delivery, you will play a key role in shaping content – working closely with the VMO2 leadership team to develop agendas, build narratives, and ensure every moment is clear, engaging and aligned to our priorities. You’ll be equally comfortable drafting materials, building presentations and quality‑checking outputs as you are managing timelines and stakeholders.

The must haves:
- Proven experience in a senior internal/communications role with experience of events delivery
- Proven ability to manage projects to time, budget and quality using strong governance
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders to resolve issues and unblock delivery
- Excellent planning and organisational skills in fast paced, changing environments
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
