This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of the UK’s most important infrastructure programmes, supporting the continued rollout of fibre network upgrades. As Fibre Upgrade CPP Manager (Finance), you will take ownership of ensuring financial accuracy, insight and control across a major capital programme, helping to shape decisions that directly impact delivery at scale.
You’ll be working at the heart of a fast-moving environment where your expertise will influence how investments are tracked, managed and optimised. In this role, you’ll partner closely with delivery and operational teams, acting as the go-to expert for all finance-related matters. From managing month-end processes, forecasting and budgeting, to identifying risks and driving continuous improvement, you’ll provide clear, actionable insight to senior stakeholders. You’ll also help evolve reporting, tools and processes, ensuring the programme remains efficient, compliant and future-ready as new technologies and workstreams are introduced.

The must haves:
- CIMA, ACCA or ICAEW accounting qualification
- Strong experience in financial forecasting, budgeting and scenario analysis
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
- Experience managing month end processes including reconciliation and variance analysis
- Ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders

- Experience working on large scale programmes, ideally within telecoms
- Knowledge of Oracle or similar finance systems
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge constructively
