Are you an expert leader with a passion for optimising mobile network performance? We’re looking for a Radio Manager to lead our Ericsson North Region optimisation team, ensuring our mobile network delivers the best possible experience for customers. In this critical leadership role, you’ll lead a team of 28 skilled radio engineers, driving network improvements across all generations of mobile network technology. You’ll take ownership of network performance, working to national critical metrics and Project Beacon targets, while ensuring smooth delivery of upgrades and new infrastructure.
With a strong focus on customer experience, you’ll lead initiatives to enhance coverage, speed, and reliability. This includes leading all aspects of demand analysis, capacity planning, network configuration and optimisation, hotspot management, throughput improvements, VIP customer support, and key city performance — all with a laser focus on minimising customer impact.
The must haves
- Proven experience managing large teams in network optimisation or planning.
- Strong background in mobile network operations within a telecoms operator or vendor, ideally with hands-on experience working with Ericsson infrastructure.
- Deep technical understanding of Ericsson radio networks, including RAN equipment, configuration, and performance optimisation techniques.
- Knowledge of key network technologies, including SON (Self-Organising Networks), AI-driven optimisation, and MoCN (Multi-Operator Core Network) deployment.
- A track record of delivering network performance improvements across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies.
