About The Role
As a Senior Delivery Manager within CIO Delivery for Data Democratisation, you play a pivotal leadership role in enabling Virgin Media O₂ to become a truly data‑centric organisation. You will shape how delivery happens across the domain, providing confidence that complex data initiatives are aligned, sustainable and focused on real business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Set the direction for delivery across Data Democratisation and work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture and CIO Delivery peers.
- Oversee delivery health across multiple initiatives, manage risk and dependencies, and provide clear assurance and insight to senior stakeholders.
- Coach Delivery Managers, embed strong ways of working, and continuously improve delivery maturity at scale.
- Step into hands‑on roles during critical moments when required.
Qualifications – Must Haves
- Significant senior delivery leadership experience across complex digital or data‑driven initiatives.
- Proven experience operating in data platform or data enablement environments.
- Strong, pragmatic application of Agile and Lean delivery at scale.
- Credibility and confidence engaging senior and executive stakeholders.
- Experience assuring delivery across multiple teams, managing risk, dependencies and outcomes.
Qualifications – Other Desired Skills
- Experience with modern data platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of data ingestion patterns and big data ecosystems.
- Experience managing third‑party suppliers and delivery partners.
- Background in product‑led, fast‑paced technology environments.
- Experience coaching and mentoring delivery professionals at scale.
