As Commercial Lead, Devices, you’ll set the strategic direction for Virgin Media O₂’s Devices portfolio, shaping how millions of customers experience technology every day. This high‑impact leadership role owns a multi‑billion‑pound portfolio spanning mobile devices, wearables, tablets, accessories and emerging consumer technology. You’ll combine deep commercial expertise with a genuine passion for innovation to build a customer‑centred, future‑ready portfolio that drives sustainable growth and long‑term profitability for the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end portfolio strategy, performance and P&L, partnering closely with senior leaders, cross‑functional teams and some of the world’s leading technology brands.
- Translate data and insight into compelling narratives that influence at the highest levels.
- Launch new devices, steer complex investment decisions and lead and develop a growing team, modelling pace, ownership and a “get stuff done” mindset in a fast‑moving, competitive market.
Qualifications – Must haves
- Significant experience leading devices or consumer technology portfolios within technology, telecommunications or retail environments.
- Proven ownership of large‑scale P&L with a strong grasp of commercial drivers and financial performance.
- Deep understanding of the devices and consumer electronics landscape, including launching new products or portfolios.
- Advanced analytical capability, with hands‑on experience using financial models and performance data to drive decisions.
- Executive‑level stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence through clear, compelling narratives.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience leading and developing commercial teams.
- Exposure to fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with competing priorities.
- Background working directly with OEMs or strategic technology partners.
