The Commercial Analyst – Fixed & Mobile Base plays a critical role in analysing and modelling the performance of Virgin Media O2’s Fixed and Mobile customer bases. You will generate the insights, forecasts and analytical models that underpin new commercial strategies aimed at driving revenue growth, improving ARPU and increasing product penetration across broadband, mobile and converged categories.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain robust analytical models to evaluate Fixed and Mobile revenue performance, forecast trends, and assess impacts of commercial initiatives.
- Analyse ARPU, churn behaviour, product penetration and customer segments to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Support development of new commercial strategies, including pricing changes, offer design, handset/SIMO opportunities, convergence initiatives and value‑driving interventions.
- Produce clear commercial insights, dashboards and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Work cross‑functionally with Finance, Propositions, Trading and Data teams to shape scenarios, quantify opportunities and validate business cases.
- Monitor competitor behaviour, market dynamics and performance trends to inform commercial decisions.
- Support governance routines (MBRs, QBRs, planning cycles) with timely analysis, performance commentary and risk/opportunity assessments.
The must haves
- Strong analytical background with experience in commercial, financial or performance analysis (telecoms or subscription‑based industries desirable).
- High proficiency with Excel/Sheets and analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python or similar advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to interpret large datasets and translate outputs into actionable commercial insights.
