Responsibilities:

  • Own the integrity of financial records and reporting for the companies in your remit, ensuring everything is complete, accurate and compliant.
  • Lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis and commentary for senior management.
  • Take care of external reporting and statutory compliance, including VAT returns, ONS surveys and other filings.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and lead the year-end audit process, working directly with external auditors and preparing technical accounting papers.
  • Build and improve processes across recharges.
