Virgin Media O2’s Corporate Strategy team is looking for an analytically driven Manager to help shape the company’s long-term direction. In-house strategy roles at large corporates give you a front-row seat to the decisions that matter most, working directly with senior leaders to seize opportunities, test scenarios and steer major investments. You’ll design robust analyses, translate insights into concise recommendations and collaborate with a high-energy team that loves working together.

The must haves
- Advanced analytical toolkit: proven experience in corporate strategy or top-tier strategy consulting, with hands-on financial-model-building and deep Excel expertise that turn numbers into clear insight
- Structured problem-solving & critical thinking: ability to break large strategic questions into logical, testable hypotheses and design fact-based approaches using trusted internal and external data set
- Executive-level presentation skills: proven ability to distil complex findings into clear, well-designed slides and concise talking points that resonate with senior stakeholders
- Stakeholder collaboration: experience coordinating with colleagues across functions to gather inputs, aligning on assumptions, and keeping your analysis thread on track so project leads can deliver on time
- Team mindset & mentoring: genuine enthusiasm for coaching graduates and analysts, sharing best practices and contributing to a positive, knowledge-sharing culture
The other stuff we are looking for
- Exposure to telecoms, media, tech or any subscription-based business, or the curiosity to learn fast
- Python (or similar): comfort automating tasks and tapping AI-driven insights; Python is a game-changer for productivity and deeper analytics
- Visual-analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau or Think-Cell) to elevate storytelling and speed iteration
