Our Fixed Wholesale division is expanding — building new commercial capabilities to maximise the value of VMO2’s fixed network assets and strengthen partnerships with ISPs serving homes across the UK. With the launch of our new relationship with O2 Daisy, this is a pivotal moment for the business.
We’re looking for a commercially driven GTM & Planning Manager to join us during this exciting phase of growth. This is a genuinely high-impact role where you’ll shape our go-to-market strategy and help define the future direction of the division. The role is hybrid, with two days per week in our London, Birmingham or Reading offices.
Key Responsibilities- You’ll lead the planning and coordination of GTM activity across multiple sectors, developing insight-led plans that deliver against our budget and proactively identifying risks and recovery actions ahead of trading periods.
- Working closely with the wider Fixed Wholesale team, you’ll support key trading decisions, align commercial priorities, and ensure we have clear, executable plans to achieve — and exceed — our annual targets.
We’re a flexible-first organisation, because we know people do their best work when they have choice and clarity. To support meaningful collaboration, we ask everyone to spend at least eight days each month connecting in person. That doesn’t just mean time in the office, it could be team meetings, offsite, volunteering days, cross-functional projects, or away days – anywhere meaningful collaboration happens. What matters is making those moments purposeful, so when we come together, it really counts.
Virgin Media O2 is an equal opportunities employer, and we’re working hard to remove bias and barriers for our people and candidates. So, we build equity and inclusion into everything we do, from the policies we craft to the relationships we shape. We support and encourage you to be your authentic self throughout your application journey with us.
The Must Haves- Shown success in Go-To-Market delivery, Performance & Planning roles including strategic planning experience, utilising previous performance and market insight.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, ideally gained in a trading or financial context, with previous experience working in a commercial or sales environment.
- Previous experience in a role requiring strong Microsoft Office skills applied in a business context – able to handle ambiguity and produce credible, well-structured output by ‘filling in the gaps’ where needed.
- Solid budget alignment and gap analysis skills, including a consistent record of identifying delivery risks and opportunities across the plan.
- A solid understanding of the Telecoms industry and its products.

These are designed to support both you and your loved ones, making sure that you’re covered no matter what life throws your way.

Once you’ve submitted an application the next steps of the process, if successful, are likely to include a competency interview with the Hiring Manager. When you apply, you’ll be asked about any adjustments you might need to support the recruitment process. Let us know, and we’ll be sure to discuss it with you.
Please note: Applications will be reviewed, and interviews conducted throughout the duration of this advert, therefore we may bring the closing date forward. We encourage all interested applicants to apply as soon as possible. If you’re offered a job with us, it will be conditional, based on the passing of background checks.
