The role of the HVAC Support Engineer is to support the ongoing running of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and ensure that rooms are run in an optimised state ensuring Opex efficiency and the ability to effectively support the network load.
In this role you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of critical room designs by addressing cooling and airflow challenges. You\’ll provide ad-hoc support during HVAC maintenance, assess and mitigate system risks, and contribute to root cause analysis and risk reviews across VMO2’s cooling infrastructure. Be part of solution assessments, reviewing design proposals, project delivery, and seamless service transitions—representing operational needs in key project phases to uphold our high standards of performance and reliability.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Technical understanding of the VMO2 Infrastructure
- Demonstrable strategic outlook, commercial awareness, financial acumen
- Mech Eng, HVAC Engineering qualification or proven experience in this area.
- Understanding of the design of HVAC systems to give energy efficient solutions that delivers required airflows with resiliency in the infrastructure.
- Comfortable working both on your own and part of a wider team
