This role supports the Commercial Activation team by helping deliver actionable insights, facilitating best practice sharing across the group and assisting in managing the activation of commercial projects for our core FMC champions and portfolio companies. Working under the guidance of the Senior Managers, you’ll play a key role in shaping selected commercial strategies (e.g. proposition strategy and development, operational and go-to-market strategies) and supporting initiatives aimed at improving customer loyalty, increasing net adds, and boosting customer ARPU. You'll also contribute to the operational side of strategic programs like digital transformation or post-merger activities and ensure best practice learning is shared and implemented across the group. As an individual contributor, you are valued for your analytical capability. You deliver as part of a collaborative team, influencing through expertise rather than line management, and you are accountable for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of your work and recommendations.
Key Accountabilities
- Produce robust quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive commercial insights that inform decisions and help identify, size and shape new commercial opportunities.
- Manage assigned work packages and projects to successful execution, spanning market research, customer value proposition development, business casing and go-to-market support, always meeting agreed objectives and timeline.
- Contribute to the development of selected commercial strategies around product, service or experience: helping to design the proposition blueprint, deliver the business case and the go-to-market strategy.
- Support the identification and prioritisation of transferable best practice and implement structured knowledge sharing to leverage the benefits for all OpCo’s.
- Collaborate with the wider Commercial Activation team to support the VP Commercial Activation in operating and budget reviews for core businesses and portfolio companies; providing non-recurring analytical and performance insights and ensuring follow-through on commercial and operational questions, issues and opportunities.
- Contribute to the commercial & operations input to operating and strategic meetings where applicable and required (to CEO and Board level).
- Stay informed about commercial, operational and technological trends and innovations relevant to the industry.
