We’re looking for aFinance Manager(Qualified Accountant)to join us in Bradford.

As a Finance Manager, you will join as we go through an exciting period of growth. You will be responsible for leading teams, workstreams and projects as we deliver reporting and analysis solutions across the Liberty Global Operating Companies and external customers.

What will you be doing?

  • Month-end activities:You will perform accounting processes across the organization, prepare journal entities, and analysis and provide insight into areas of focus, whilst making recommendations to improve and simplify processes.

  • Stakeholder management: Whilst working within internal reporting deadlines, you will support and influence decision-making across the organization.

  • Control:You will implement an effective internal control framework, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, highlight and resolve any issues, and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements, as well as liaise with auditors to provide evidence and supporting narrative, as required

  • Process Improvement and Automation: Ensuring work is performed efficientlyand whilst identifying opportunities to improve and simplify processes, you will work collaboratively to standardise and automate processes.

We tend to look for people with:

  • Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA; ACCA; CIMA etc.) and either newly qualified or with a degree of post-qualified experience.

  • A track record working in a Finance team as an Accountant

  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.

  • Experience working within large complex corporate structures, whilst managing key stakeholder relationships and delivering to deadlines

  • Strong Excel skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Financial systems skills (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
