About us
At Believ, formerly known as Liberty Charge, we're committed to sustainable transport being accessible to everyone.
We're a Charge Point Operator (CPO) on a mission to create the UK's most reliable electric vehicle charging network that doesn't cost the earth and leaves no one behind.
Providing equitable access to electric vehicle charging, and achieving cleaner air for all, is at the heart of the Believ mission.
We work closely with local authorities and businesses to deliver reliable, high quality charging networks at pace, at scale and at zero cost.
We offer all the advantages of being a scale-up business, but with the added security and long-term backing from well-known parents - Liberty Global (who also own our delivery partner, Virgin Media O2) and Zouk Capital (who manage the Government's Charging Investment Infrastructure Fund).
You'll be joining this exciting journey at the start of our scale-up phase, and working with us to hit the ambitious targets our shareholders have set.
You'll become part of a passionate and supportive team in a fast-paced, dynamic and result-driven environment.
About the role
We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to own and drive Believ's digital presence across B2B, B2C, and B2G audiences.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role sitting at the heart of our marketing team.
You'll be the person who connects our brand story to measurable outcomes, across every digital touchpoint.
You'll work closely with the wider marketing team to execute campaigns, optimise performance, and help position Believ as the most loved CPO.
You'll also line manage our Social Media Specialist and any future Digital roles as our team continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance & Campaigns Plan, execute, and optimise paid and organic digital campaigns across Google, Meta, Linked In, and emerging channels
- Own campaign reporting, turning data into clear insight and sharper briefs, not just dashboards
- Manage digital ad spend efficiently, with a strong eye on CPL, CAC, and channel ROI
- Content & SEO Drive SEO strategy and execution from technical audits to content gap analysis to on-page optimisation
- Collaborate with content and design to produce digital assets that actually convert, not just look good
- Manage website content, including the creation of landing pages and the review of copy, images, and other multimedia elements
- CRM & Email Own the digital side of CRM building automated journeys, segmenting audiences, and improving lifecycle engagement
- Work alongside our CRM platform to ensure digital campaigns and CRM are genuinely joined up
- Web & Analytics Take ownership of website performance including driving UX improvements, landing page testing, conversion rate optimisation
- Set up and maintain clean tracking (GA4, GTM) and translate analytics into action
- Be the team's go-to for data integrity and attribution
- Collaboration & Stakeholders Work across commercial, product, and ops teams to ensure digital activity supports business priorities
- Brief and manage our agency partners and freelancers, keeping quality high and timelines tight
- People & Leadership Line manage and develop our Social Media Specialist, providing clear direction, regular 1:1s, and meaningful feedback that helps them grow
- Set the social content strategy and be accountable for its quality, your Specialist executes, but you own the standard
- Act as a collaborative, grounded manager who leads by example rather than hierarchy
About you
At Believ, we are building a culture that attracts and retains the best talent.
We are a dedicated and high-performing team, accustomed to working at pace in an ever-evolving industry, and we are looking for people who are as passionate as us about cutting carbon emissions and providing cleaner air for all.
- 5 years in digital marketing, with a proven track record across both B2B/B2G and B2C channels
- Hands-on experience with paid media including Google Ads, Meta, Linked In, SEO, and email marketing
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable in GA4 and able to challenge data that doesn't add up
- Demonstrable ability to manage budgets and report on commercial impact, not vanity metrics
- Previous line management experience, with the ability to set clear direction and develop direct reports
- Excellent written communication, you understand how tone shifts between a B2B Linked In post and a consumer email
- Experience working in a scale-up or fast-growth environment
- Proactive, solutions-first, and not afraid to say when something isn't working
- CRM platform experience (Hub Spot, or similar)
Benefits
