We're looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our team on a permanent basis, based in Bradford. This is a hybrid role, with a blend of office and home working.
The Senior Bid Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth by identifying, shaping and converting high-value opportunities across our target markets. Working closely with Sales, Operations and Delivery teams, you'll lead the end-to-end bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification and discovery through to solution development and submission of compelling, winning proposals. Acting as the bridge between commercial ambition and operational delivery, you'll ensure opportunities are aligned to our capabilities, commercially viable, and deliverable for our customers. This is a highly visible, commercially focused role with direct accountability for contributing to the achievement of ambitious multi-year revenue growth targets.

- Strong collaboration between Sales, Operations and Delivery teams, creating confidence in solution delivery.
- Consistent contribution towards annual revenue and growth objectives.
- Development of scalable, repeatable bid management processes that support ongoing business growth.
- Identify, qualify and prioritise high-value opportunities, applying a clear bid/no-bid approach aligned to business strategy and capability.
- Lead discovery activities to understand client requirements and develop compelling, deliverable solutions that differentiate Liberty Blume.
- Manage the end-to-end bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to submission and contract award.
- Develop bid strategies, win themes and value propositions that maximise conversion and align to client evaluation criteria.
- Produce clear, persuasive and high-quality bid responses, translating complex technical, operational and commercial information into customer-focused proposals.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal and wider business stakeholders to ensure solutions are commercially viable, serviceable and low risk.
- Manage bid plans, timelines, governance, approvals and stakeholder contributions to ensure successful delivery.
- Support the development of pricing strategies, commercial models and risk positions that balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive accountability, alignment and successful pursuit outcomes.
- Continuously improve bid processes, tools and content, using lessons learned to increase win rates and support business growth.
- Proven success in building and converting sales pipelines, securing complex, high-value, multi-year contracts.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience developing pricing strategies, commercial models and managing risk.
- Experience leading discovery and qualification activities to shape customer-focused, deliverable solutions in partnership with operational teams.
- Demonstrable track record of managing the full bid lifecycle and delivering compelling, successful bid submissions.
- Experience working across a range of industries, including both private and public sector opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across sales, operations, finance and senior leadership teams.
- Recognised bid/proposal management qualification (e.g. APMP Practitioner or equivalent).
- Experience managing formal public sector procurement processes, including PQQs, SQs, ITTs and framework agreements, with a strong understanding of procurement regulations.
- Experience bidding within infrastructure, utilities and/or telecommunications environments.
- Proven ability to develop, implement and enhance bid governance, processes and best practice within a growing organisation.
