The predicted salary is between 60000 - 70000 £ per year.
Hybrid role based in London office. Official office hours are 9:00 – 5:30 Monday‑Friday; you may be required to work as needed. No overtime is payable. This role reports to the Director of Operations Finance and delivers high‑quality portfolio reporting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, process improvement and finance systems oversight across the portfolio. Must have the right to work in the UK.
Experience and Skills
- ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and management information.
- Advanced Excel capability, including financial modelling, report automation, variance analysis, data manipulation and review of large data sets.
- Strong capability in improving finance process workflows, reporting templates and recurring finance outputs.
- Experience with finance systems and integrations such as PMS, POS, payment platforms, reporting tools and accounting systems.
- Hospitality finance experience preferred, with an understanding of hotel revenue flows, financial controls and key performance drivers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyse and challenge property performance, including P&Ls, forecasts, budgets and management commentary, helping to turn financial results into clear actions.
- Consolidate portfolio‑level results and provide clear reporting, analysis and insight to support senior stakeholder discussions and business decisions.
- Prepare ad‑hoc analysis, deep dives and decision‑support materials to answer key commercial questions and support performance improvement.
- Work with stakeholders across the portfolio, from property finance teams through to senior leadership and board‑level audiences, ensuring financial information is clear, useful and decision‑ready.
- Improve reporting frameworks, finance packs, templates, schedules and P&L structures to drive optimisation and efficiency.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle, including timetable coordination, template preparation, assumption review, variance analysis and consolidation, helping to create a more robust budgeting workflow.
- Identify and deliver improvements to finance workflows, reporting tools, trackers, controls and recurring outputs so processes become faster, cleaner and less manual.
- Build and maintain Excel‑based models, templates and automation tools that improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency across the portfolio.
- Act as a key support and escalation point for property finance teams, providing guidance, training, troubleshooting and hands‑on support where needed to improve quality and continuity.
- Support operational finance projects, system implementations, process changes, control improvements and cross‑functional initiatives that improve how finance supports the wider business.
