We're looking for a Corporate Sales Team Lead to join our B2B team Virgin Incentives. We turn recognition into results with anti-ordinary rewards.
About the role
Ready to bring anti-ordinary corporate gifting and the iconic Virgin magic to the B2B world? As our Corporate Sales Team Lead you’ll be a hands-on driving force behind revenue growth in our B2B division, driving sales performance while supporting a high-performing account team. You’ll champion how UK businesses attract, reward and retain their clients and talent through unforgettable experience schemes.
Success in this role means being commercially sharp, tenacious, and hungry for results. You won't just manage accounts; you’ll proactively uncover new business, consultatively cross-sell and upsell our world-class portfolio, act as a true Brand Ambassador and mentor a small team. If you thrive on exceeding ambitious sales targets, building high-value corporate partnerships, taking your first step into sales leadership, and bringing big energy to a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to shine and transform standard employee recognition and customer acquisition programs into something extraordinary.
You’ll enjoy uncapped commission and commercial thrills, directly rewarded for your success as you secure high-value accounts and drive major revenue with top-tier UK businesses. Bringing bold energy, you’ll deliver consultative solutions that make clients wonder how they ever survived without us. All this comes with a fantastic work-life balance through our flexible hybrid model - based at our vibrant Bourne End, Buckinghamshire HQ (SL8 5YS) for a minimum of 2 days a week.
What you’ll do:
- Drive Revenue & Account Growth: Proactively manage and scale a portfolio of corporate B2B clients to consistently hit and exceed ambitious sales targets.
- Capitalise on Cross-Sell & Upsell Opportunities: Identify client objectives and consultatively pitch tailored solutions for reward and recognition, sales incentives, customer acquisition, and corporate gifting using our portfolio of products.
- Build Long-Term Business Partnerships: Develop deep, multi-level relationships with key corporate decision-makers (HR, Procurement, Sales Leaders, Marketing) to drive client retention and lifetime value.
- Drive Team Excellence: Lead and inspire the team, coaching them to consistently smash targets, driving individual personal growth and team connection while aligning day-to-day sales activity with the broader strategy.
- Act as a Virgin Brand Ambassador: Deliver an exceptional sales journey, representing the Virgin brand professionally and authentically within the B2B marketplace.
- Deliver Strategic Account Plans: Formulate and execute clear account retention and growth strategies tailored to high-value B2B clients.
- CRM & Sales Forecasting: Maintain precise sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and client records using CRM systems to ensure clear visibility of revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Sales to design and execute commercial strategy, monitor market trends, and capitalise on high-growth sectors. Also work alongside the VED management team.
- Power Commercial Innovation: Collaborate seamlessly with B2B Marketing to fuel the sales pipeline, using joint strategic insights and creative deal-structuring to smash through client barriers and close complex sales.
What you’ll need:
- Proven B2B Corporate Account Management: Strong track record in B2B sales, account growth, or corporate account management within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Tenacious & Commercially Minded: Results-driven mindset with a relentless focus on hitting targets, unlocking revenue, and closing high-value commercial deals.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Ability to understand client pain points and present compelling, tailored solutions rather than just selling off-the-shelf products.
- Exceptional Communication & Relationship-Building: Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with confidence pitching to key business decision makers.
- Proactive & Self-Motivated: A "can-do" attitude, full of initiative, with the drive to follow up on opportunities relentlessly and move deals across the finish line.
- CRM & Pipeline Proficiency: Hands-on experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines, forecast revenues, and maintain clear records.
- Networking & Event Presence: Stand out as the face of the brand at major B2B trade events and exhibitions - owning the room, sparking organic conversations, and converting networking opportunities into a qualified pipeline.
Desirable / Advantageous:
- Reward & Recognition Industry Experience: Prior experience in employee engagement, corporate gifting, sales incentives, multi-choice gift cards, or experiential products.
- Network & Market Knowledge: Existing familiarity with HR, People & Culture, or corporate reward buyer networks in the UK.
- Passion for the Brand: A genuine enthusiasm for the Virgin brand, experiential products, and helping businesses create memorable rewards for their people and customers.
Perks to make work feel less ordinary:
- Time for you: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 2 days each year.
- Freedom to work your way: 2 days in-office (Tuesday is a mandatory in-office day), Flexi-working hours around our core 10-4, so your day works for you (8.5 hours per day with a 1 hour lunch).
- Wellbeing that works: Access to an award-winning employee assistance programme; Health Plan cover (plus family add-ons) with cash back for a variety of health & wellbeing costs; Cycle to Work and Electric Vehicle schemes (post probation).
- Future proofing you (and your finances): Company pension (5% you, 3% us) after 3 months; Discretionary bonus and life assurance after probation.
- Giving back & all the anti-ordinary extras: 2 volunteer days each year; Free breakfast when in the office; Personal re-loadable multi-choice gift card (topped up on your birthday, lifetime milestones and internal celebrations); Yearly £150 experience voucher; Discounts on experiences and across the Virgin Group; Refer a Friend bonus and generous team celebrations throughout the year.
